Last week I mentioned there are two good Wanton Mee stalls in the vicinity of Tanglin Halt, and I featured one first - Guangdong Wanton Mee.
Here is the second one - Cantonese Seng Kee Wanton Noodles, located not far away at ABC food centre.
Like Guangdong, Seng Kee's version is also old-school with an exceptional flavour of lard and its crispy bits.

Mr Yong says he is continuing his father's tradition since the old Tiong Bahru days in the 1950s.
The stall started as a streetside stall in Tiong Bahru in the 1950s by stall owner Mr Yong's father.
Mr Yong's chilli sauce is slightly more mod than Guangdong's strong chilli-boh flavour, and similar to the sambal for Nasi Lemak.
So it tasted more 'prawny' than Guangdong's old-fashioned chilli sauce.
If you were to mix Seng Kee's chilli sauce well with the lard and soy-sauce-sesame dressing, everything would meld quite well.
It's one of the better 'dry' Wanton noodles around though slightly less bold in flavour than Guangdong's.
But it beats the latter in a few areas - better-tasting char siew, finer noodles, and bigger and more flavourful Wanton dumplings.
Bigger than those elsewhere, the pleasant pork Wantons were flavoured well with dried plaice.
In terms of flavour, the soup pales in comparison to Guangdong's enticing version. But don't be too quick to sniff at it.
If your taste buds were sharp, you would be able to detect the flavour of scallop.
The soup was made with a good amount of dried small scallops - you can see them being scooped from the bottom of the soup pot to top off blanched greens if you order the dish.

Although there's always a queue at meal times, it's not such a long wait.
Also popular with diners were the braised chicken feet and black mushrooms, and braised pork ribs. All were decent. There's curry noodles too.
Rating: 7.5 to 8.5/10
Rating for Wantons:7.5/10
